Sun is setting low, the fire is burning bright
The moon is coming up o’er freshly fallen snow.
The table is set, glasses filled with wine
Now the time approaches, for us to dine
But first just let me gaze, at your earrings in the light.
Your beautiful dress, the one I Liked.
Remember how we danced, you floated in my arms.
A jewel box dancer, in life size
I don’t recall, when you got weak.
I don’t remember the painful splinter.
Of losing you, my world moved down and down
And now all I have are roses in Winter.
So lets us drink a toast, bring the candles close
Let me think only, of who I love the most
I only see your face, only hear your laugh
Feel your warming hands, all around our place
A part of me can see, that this is all a sham.
But never enough to, let me be the same.
